Wikipedia To add video option for it's Articles

Recently, Wikipedia has announced their launching of Video in Wikipedia.Their website had officially announced the press release and invited people for a beta version.It's assumed by the web geeks that Wikipedia will be launching this new option within 2-3 months.It would be a great revolution if such an option is created in the world's largest non-profit organization and the largest knowledge mine of internet.As per the physiology, The Moving things or films we see, will stuck on our mind three times double than what we read or see.So, adding such an option in wikipedia - where the whole world comes in search for knowledge - is an appreciable and a great thing.

If this would be added, all the users will see a "Add Media" link on creating Wikipedia articles.The link will redirect you to major video gallery where you can choose videos matching to your content from thousands of videos.You don't want to take trouble with editing video for editing or clipping them.Instead they provide you all those tools online.But, Heard that they are only allowing videos from these 3 video galleries at now, the first time ;-

1. Internet Archive
2. Wikimedia Commons
3. Metavid

- Also heard that they will be adding so many features for the video, like editing/replacing video, adding, recognizing video...etc.and the video editing also would be as simple as editing texts in the Wikipedia.So we can hope that the wikipedia will be more useful and informative than before, if the new option is gonna applied on it.Even if the Video option helps the readers to understand things very clearly, there might come some parasites to dumb this revolution, by using the video option for spams, scams, ............ etc.
